Lesley Larsen, Artistic Director of the Historic Wayne Theatre, holds a BFA in Acting from Brigham Young University and an MLITT and MFA in Shakespeare and Renaissance Literature in Performance from MBU/The American Shakespeare Center. With over 20 years of professional experience in theatre as a director, actor, improv comedian, and voice actor, Lesley is dedicated to consent-based theatre practices. She serves as Co-Chair of Community Theatre on the Virginia Theatre Association Board. Some of her notable directing credits at the Wayne Theatre include "Something Rotten," "Deep Into the Darkness: An Adaptation of Poe’s Works," "The Importance of Being Earnest: Boy Band Edition," "Little Shop of Horrors," "Disney’s The Little Mermaid," "Elf the Musical," and "Pride and Prejudice."
