June 23: Mini Madness and “The Italian Job” screening

The Shenandoah Valley British Car Club presents Mini Madness on Sunday, June 23, at 2 p.m. at the Wayne Theatre. Mini Madness is a celebration of the 60th anniversary of one of Britain’s most iconic cars.

Admission is Pay What You Will, and the event is open to the public. There is limited seating in the theatre so advance reservations are recommended.

The event will include a screening of the original “The Italian Job” movie at 2 p.m.

If you own a British car, please arrive by 1:15 p.m., as we will have a designated parking area to display the cars for all to observe. If you REALLY want to be part of the fun, dress up in your best 60s outfit.

ABOUT THE MOVIE: The Italian Job, with Michael Cane and Noel Coward, is not just a classic movie. Cringe, as beautiful British sports cars are destroyed by the Italian Mafia! Cheer, as three Minis pull off a heist of gold from an armored truck! Watch in fascination, as you witness one of the most notable chase scenes in cinema! Hold your breath, as the ending of the movie has you teetering on the edge of your seat!

The event is sponsored by the Shenandoah Valley British Car Club and benefits the Wayne Theatre.
