June 13: USAF Heritage Brass

The Wayne Theatre presents the United States Air Force Heritage of America Band, Heritage Brass, on Thursday, June 13, at 7 p.m.

Admission is Pay What You Will. Advance reservations are recommended.

Bringing the military tradition of brass and percussion to the concert stage, Heritage Brass presents programs that are both exhilarating and intimate. Representing Air Force professionals serving across the globe, Heritage Brass showcases the service’s excellence and precision in every performance throughout the eastern seaboard.

Comprised of 10 brass players and a percussionist, the ensemble maintains a rigorous performance schedule presenting a diverse repertoire featuring orchestral transcriptions, patriotic favorites, jazz standards, new compositions and distinctive arrangements.

As professional Airman-musicians, Heritage Brass is committed to inspiring the American public, communicating Air Force core values, and honoring veterans through the power of music.

June 1: Bacon in the 'Boro, The South River Music Festival

The Wayne Theatre presents Bacon in the 'Boro: The South River Music Festival on Saturday, June 1, along the banks of the South River at Constitution Park in downtown Waynesboro. Gates will open at 1 p.m. with music starting at 3 p.m.

June 10-14: Imagination Stage Summer Camp

Using dramatic play movement, music, with a hint of visual art, we will explore variety of theatre subjects including improvisation, physical theatre, and acting. Recommended for grades K-5.

Production Camp: Junie B. Jones Jr. The Musical

During this two-week program June 17-28, students will work with Director Hank Fitzgerald and his creative team to present Junie B. Jones The Musical Jr. Recommended for Grades 4-12.

America's Got Talent season six winner Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr. returns to the Wayne Theatre on Friday, June 21, at 8 p.m.

June 23: Mini Madness and The Italian Job screening

The Shenandoah Valley British Car Club presents Mini Madness on Sunday, June 23, at 2 p.m. at the Wayne Theatre. Mini Madness is a celebration of the 60th anniversary of one of Britain’s most iconic cars.

June 28-29: Junie B. Jones Jr. The Musical

Join Junie B. on her first day of first grade, where many changes are in store: Junie’s best friend Lucille has found new best friends - and Junie B. makes friends with Herb, the new kid at school.

June 30: Nightingales of the Shenandoah Valley

The Wayne Theatre presents Nightingales of the Shenandoah Valley on Sunday, June 30, for one show at 4 p.m. Tickets are $10 for students/$18 for adults.

2019 Summer Movie Series at the Wayne

The Wayne Theatre presents a series of movies this summer for the young and young at heart in July.

July 30: The Quebe Sisters

The Quebe Sisters return to the Wayne Theatre on Tuesday, July 30, at 7:30 p.m.

August 8-18: Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical

The Wayne Theatre presents Matilda The Musical on August 8-11 and 15-18, 2019.
