Admission is Pay What You Will.

Special guest vocalist: Wanda Eaves-Taylor

About the film: Set against the antebellum South, this film follows Nat Turner, a literate slave and preacher, whose financially strained owner, Samuel Turner, accepts an offer to use Nat’s preaching to subdue unruly slaves. As he witnesses countless atrocities – against himself and his fellow slaves – Nat orchestrates an uprising in the hopes of leading his people to freedom.

The screenings will be followed by a panel discussion which explores finding faith in film.

The Faith in Film series is sponsored in part by First Baptist Church in Waynesboro.
