April 8: Shenandoah Jamboree with Ben “Cooter” Jones
The Shenandoah Jamboree returns to the Wayne Theatre for one show on Saturday, April 8, with guest star Ben “Cooter” Jones.
Jones will join the Shenandoah Jamboree regulars, including host Lisa Meadows, for the 7 p.m. show.
Tickets are $25 and $35.

Tickets go on sale for the public on Monday, Feb. 20, at 12 a.m.
Jones was one of the stars of the 1970s TV series “The Dukes of Hazzard,” portraying mechanic Cooter Davenport.
Jones went from TV stardom to a brief career in politics, serving two terms in Congress representing Georgia, before returning to his native Virginia.
Still involved in acting, Jones stars in a one-man show, “Ol’ Diz,” based on the life of Baseball Hall of Fame pitcher and broadcaster Dizzy Dean.
The Shenandoah Jamboree is funded in part by a Greater Augusta Regional Tourism grant.
The Wayne Theatre is located at 521 W. Main St. in Waynesboro.
