April 30: 3 Redneck Tenors
The 3 Redneck Tenors will bring a unique blend of opera, standup comedy and improv to the Wayne Theatre on Sunday, April 30, at 7 p.m.
Tickets range from $25 – $35.
The tenors – Matthew Lord, Blake Davidson and Jonathan Frugé – have performed in venerable houses worldwide, including Carnegie Hall, The Metropolitan Opera and the Tokyo Opera House.
Their take on the Three Tenors model is fresh – showcasing stirring performances of songs as varied as “Ave Maria” to “Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer.” They sing all styles of music from modern pop to opera, and everything in between.
Lord, a graduate of Julliard, has credits including Phantom of the Opera. Davidson and Frugé have performed solo concerts at Carnegie Hall.
The Wayne Theatre is located at 521 W. Main St. in Waynesboro.
