Comedy Night – Jan. 28 at WTA’s Gateway

Comedy Night is back at WTA’s Gateway Theatre with an evening of musical and improvisational comedy on Saturday, January 28 at8 pm.   The evening will be hosted by Jim Zarling, founder ofCharlottesville’s Comedy Roundtable. 

First up for the January Comedy Night will be a Richmondfavorite, Manly Man.  The  two-woman musical powerhouse spent 2011 teaching the capital city how to rock and laugh.  Charlottesville’s Broken Monocle Improv will follow.  The group specializes in finding humor in the 24/7 news media swirling around us.  The evening will end with the Improv Throwdown as the members of Manly Man and Broken Monocle Improv battle to decide which person is the best improviser of the evening. 

Tickets for the January 28th performance are $10.  They are available online or by calling 540-943-9999.  Tickets are also available at the door on the evening of performance.
